OUR COMMITMENT TO PRIVACY

The National Nurse Practitioner Residency and Fellowship Training Consortium (NNPRFTC) is committed to respecting your privacy.  We have developed the privacy policy to cover personally identifiable and organizational information that we might collect on the NNPRFTC website.  The policy describes the types of information collected, how that information is used, and the choices users have about the collection and use of this information.

As we provide our suite of services and benefits we will be collecting information from you.  Current and future circumstances may include: registering for an NNPRFTC conference or event, subscribing to our newsletter, responding to a survey, filling out a form, or submitting accreditation review documents. 

When registering on our site or submitting accreditation documentation, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information or other potentially confidential information about you or your organization.

How We Use Information
ÒAny of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

  •      To carry out essential functions of the organization to educate, accredit, and support NP postgraduate training.
  •      To communicate with others regarding organizational priorities.
  •      To administer a survey or other site features.
  •      To send you information and updates pertaining to your activity, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

The NNPRFTC implements a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal or organizational information.

 

Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the service requested.


We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providerÕs database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.


After a transaction, we will not retain your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.)

NNPRFTC uses cookies to help us learn more about site traffic.  Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computerÕs hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providerÕs systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.

WEBSITE SECURITY

NNPRFTC uses website security measures consistent with current best practices to protect its website, email and mailing lists. These measures include technical, procedural, monitoring and tracking steps intended to safeguard data from misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, loss, alteration or destruction. Credit card information is transmitted using secure socket layer (SSL) encryption. Protecting member and user information is a high priority.  We combine our own protective measures with those of the capabilities of our software and hardware vendors.

We realize there can be incidents of misuse or unauthorized program incursions, as is experienced by almost every website, service or user. In those instances, our goals are to move quickly to isolate the problem, ensure or restore proper functionality and minimize any inconvenience to our users. As appropriate and necessary, NNPRFTC will notify the relevant authorities of these incidents of misuse or unauthorized program incursions of the NNPRFTC website.
 

CHANGES IN OUR PRIVACY POLICY

NNPRFTC reserves the right to make changes to our Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason without prior notice. Any changes to our Privacy Policy will be posted on this page so that you are always aware of our policies. We may also contact you by email with changes.
