The NNPRFTC is offering monthly "Accreditation Salons", 1-hour informal panel discussions delivered via Zoom video conferencing. Participation is open to anyone who wants to learn more about the Consortium's accreditation process. In our November Salon we had representation from across the country, from well-established programs who were undergoing accreditation review to brand new programs in their first year of operation who had not yet applied for accreditation.

Our panel of experts includes leaders from the Consortium and representatives from successfully accredited programs. They respond to questions and comments from the participants. Questions range from: "How does a program know when it will be ready to apply for accreditation?" to "How should we document a specific requirement in the Accreditation Standards?" We have found that every question that is asked or comment that is offered contributes to the understanding of the participants. The more information programs have about the process, the better prepared they are for success.

Each month we will post an event notice for the Salon on this page (see below) and also under the About Us navigation tab, on the News Updates page. We encourage you to register and submit your questions. Each Salon will provide general information about the accreditation process, as well as provide specific information on various topics that have been identified as of interest.

The Salons will usually be held in the third week of the month, at 3:00 pm Eastern.

Come join the January Accreditation Salon on Tuesday, January 23, 3:00 pm Eastern. This monthly, informal panel discussion and question and answer session is intended to respond to questions posted by individuals and programs considering accreditation, as well as by programs that have already applied and are actively in accreditation review. 

Click the register button to access and complete the required 2-step registration process.  First, complete the registration form which includes a comment box where you can submit your questions, and confirmation that you are not a robot!  The 2nd step is submitting the email verification of your registration, which is required in order to receive the link for the Zoom video conference.
